NOTICE: This project is currently under development using Internet Explorer 6.0 and Cosmo Player 2.1.1 plugin. The version currently shown should be viewable with the below software. Please email us if you experience any difficulties.

Project Scope: A web site will be created containing three-dimensional virtual reality models of buildings to demonstrate structural and nonstructural damage sustained during an earthquake and the effectiveness of earthquake retrofit techniques. Website users will be able to interactively install or remove various earthquake retrofit details and observe the results of the installation or removal of retrofit components during a simulated earthquake. Viewing the Project: You must install a VRML viewer. Masonry Building Best viewed with Netscape 4.6 or 4.7. Links to VRML Viewers: Cosmo Player (VRML Browser - **Recommended**) Cosmo Player Tutorial: This Tutorial is HIGHLY Recommended for new Cosmo Users!

Troubleshooting:
The vrml world will load faster on a LAN connection than a dial-up connection.  This application works best on newer, faster video cards.
