Illinois Engineering Initiative Scholarship
Eligibility Applicants shall: (1) Attend an Illinois university and be enrolled in an engineering program accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). (Note: Students enrolled in an engineering technology program are not eligible.) (2) Be of at least Junior standing.* (3) Have a B average or better in those courses which are accredited toward the engineering degree. (4) Show evidence of financial need. Application Requirements In addition to completing the attached application and needs analysis, the candidate must: (1) Submit official transcripts of all college and university work (sent under separate cover). (2) Submit two letters of reference: (a) from the department chair or department faculty member. (b) from past employer or other character reference. (3) Prepare a typewritten essay in 200 words or less highlighting career goals as a professional engineer. Selection Criteria Candidates will be evaluated based on scholarship, financial need, activities, interest in engineering and the applicant’s essay.

The National Precast Concrete Association Foundation is sponsoring scholarships for deserving students pursuing careers related to the precast concrete industry.
ASDSO Scholarship
The Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO) offers 2018-2019 Senior Undergraduate Scholarship and Student Paper Competition. Minimum Criteria: Undergraduate students planning to graduate in May/December 2019 will be eligible for the 2018 scholarship; Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 for the first three years of college and be recommended by their academic advisor.

The Material Handling Education Foundation, Inc. (MHEFI) is offering scholarships to full-time students who are enrolled in eligible programs and schools for the 2018/2019 academic year. Scholarships range from $1,500 to $6,000.
ACI Missouri Chapter-Luke Snell and Billie Snell Undergraduate Scholarship
The scholarship provides financial assistance for undergraduate students with an interest in careers in concrete design, materials, or construction. Criteria: Be currently enrolled for undergraduate study at a college or university engineering, construction management, architecture or materials department; Maintain status as a full time student during the entire scholarship year.

The scholarship provides financial assistance for graduate students pursuing a course of study in the field of concrete design, materials, or construction. Criteria: Possess a bachelor’s degree from a higher education institution; Be accepted or currently enrolled for graduate study at a college or university in a program in the area of concrete where design, materials, construction are offered; Maintain status as a full time student during the entire scholarship year.
Salt Creek Chapter of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers-General Engineering Scholarship

ASCE St. Louis Section scholarship
The ASCE St. Louis Section Annual Scholarships are awarded in recognition of membership in an ASCE Student Chapter, enrollment as a civil engineering student, excellence in academic performance, and active participation in issues reflecting the role of engineers in the advancement of our society. Nomination information for this award is sent out each Spring semester to the Civil Engineering departments at the universities in the Section's area.
